A Holiday Gift of an Autographed Book

Hello and Happy Holidays to everyone. It’s been busy around the Weir household, with Thanksgiving dinner held at our house and all the events we’ve been attending. I hope everyone had some time off to spend with family and loved ones. Be sure to read all the way to the end of the newsletter, as I have a special free eBook offer as a thank you to all my readers.

It has been a busy month of November, with all the events I’ve done. Sales early on haven’t been up to last year but have picked up this past couple of weekends. The Mollie McGee’s Holiday Craft Market was a huge success for me with great sales from new and returning readers of my books. Below are a few pictures of happy book buyers. Many were buying books for loved ones as gifts for the holidays. A signed book by an author is a huge surprise when opened. It does my heart good when I hear of the happiness these gifts have provided people through the years. It makes all the hard work worthwhile!!

I continue to give out $10 Amazon Gift Cards for those who come by my table to purchase books and sign up for my newsletter. This past month’s winners of the gift cards were: Peggy, Eric, Sean, and Donna. Congratulations to the winners. And thanks to everyone who I talked with this past month.

A gentleman reached out to me this past week about getting more books. He had purchased The Divine Devils at one of the events and sent me an email wondering where to get more of the series for he was nearly done reading and said it was awesome. I directed him to my website and the form to submit to order books directly from me. I gathered the books, signed them, and since he lived close by, I dropped them off at his house. All part of the great service I provide for those interested in reading my work. If you are interested in signed paperbacks, then go to the form on my website at this link, enter all the information requested and when you’re finished click the Submit Button. I will contact you within 24 hours to arrange payment. The books are then shipped or delivered within 24-48 hours. It’s that simple!!

All 12 paperbacks are available as well on Amazon. There are 8 in the Jarvis Mann PI series and 4 books in The Divine Devils series. On Amazon, all my books have over 1000 ratings, while on Goodreads I have over 900. All the books with a combined average of 4.2 stars. If you’re an eBook reader they are all available in Kindle format and via the Kindle Unlimited subscription service. You can find them on Amazon via this link. And Amazon has put several of my paperback books at great prices for the holidays. This includes Twice As Fatal ($7.67), Dead Man Code ($5.54), The Front Range Butcher ($4.04), and Fallen Star: The Divine Devils Book 2 ($10.49). These are great prices and I don’t know how long they will last. And yes even with the lower price Amazon is offering, I receive the full royalty from the sale. A great chance to get some wonderful books at a killer price.

Early sales on the audiobook for The Divine Devils have been good. I do still have promo codes to give away for both The Divine Devils and Tracking A Shadow which are good for those using Audible in the US or the UK. All I ask is that you post an honest review once you’re done listening. If you’re interested, send me an email and I’ll get it right over to you.

I hope you got a chance to catch my interview with Phillip Polite, the narrator of The Divine Devils. If not here is a link to the video recording where we discuss the work he did on the book and the challenges he faced. Phillip is a great guy and I enjoyed chatting with him.

The final book in The Divine Devils series, Divine Retribution continues to get great reviews. Here are two others that recently were posted:

Wow! What a stupendous ending to the Divine Devils saga! “Divine Retribution: The Divine Devils Final Chapter” brilliantly brings the previous books together and ties them all in a neat package. All those who have worked with the Divine Devils in some capacity are reunited in this novel, including Valerie who has a cameo. We finally learn who “The Organization” is after only hearing about this corrupt group throughout the saga. The gritty writing expected from Mr. Weir is still evident and it helps the reader perceive the tough characters for who they are. It is easy to visualize the surroundings in each scene as Mr. Weir meticulously draws the details. Tension builds from the first page of the story and continues to build throughout. The reader’s heart races along as the tension escalates. Emotions run rampant as the reader experiences everything from tenderness to goose bump inducing horror at the atrocities carried out all in the name of manipulation. Tears will come during this convoluted tale, so have a tissue at the ready. All questions lingering from previous novels are all answered in this tell all, be all story, to include the secret from Hunter’s infancy which unknown to him, has been haunting him throughout this saga. A mind boggling tale, one will never be the same after being immersed in the dark world of the Divine Devils – Belinda

Hunter’s Divine Devils are disbanded and he’s hiding out trying to find the link to the killer and some woman who claims she is his rightful mother. He avoids his previous problems with alcohol and drugs, channeling all his energy into his mission. Although disbanded, each member of the group starts poking around themselves and connecting as they gather information. As the pieces come together, the tension builds and the pace quickens. Well-written, there are the characters to like, as well as villains, including the one who wants all the Divine Devils dead and Hunter working for her. Hard to put down with many dead or injured, yet an effective ending. Although this is the fourth in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone. That said, it’s always best to start at the beginning of a series, rather than the end. I’d highly recommend this book (and the series) for those who don’t mind graphic scenes and who enjoy suspense, action, and a fast pace. I’m sorry the series is ending – C-Lu

Lethal Blues recently received an Editorial Review from Reader Views, which gave it 5 Stars. You can read the review via this link. It is also entered into their book awards contest, the winner to be announced early next year. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
